TRIPLE NETWORK

Convenience – Security – Control

LogicHotspot has designed a triple network system to meet the requirements of today’s businesses that supply WiFi for their customers.

The Unsecured Network or ‘Open Network’ does not require a passphrase and is easy to connect to. Upon the launch of any browser it will take the customer to the coupon required logon page. Once connected the customer will be able to use the Internet for the time allocated on the ticket. When the time has been used up, another ticket will be required.

The Secured Network is a *WAP-2 Personal Encrypted network for those requiring more security. The generic passphrase can be displayed in the premises or given out by staff upon requests. Upon submitting the passphrase, and the launch of any browser, the customer will be taken to the coupon required logon page. Once connected the customer will be able to use the Internet for the time allocated on the ticket. When the time has been used up, another ticket will be required.

The third network is for the private use of the Owner / Manager. It is *WAP-2 Personal Encrypted. The SSID is set up to as not to show affiliation with the operation. Passphrase is protected and only known to the Management. No coupon required, 24 hour access.

Choose one or all three on the same router,   …. see Server Set Up Fee   in Packages.

What is WPA2?

Short for Wi-Fi Protected Access 2, the follow on security method to WPA for wireless networks that provides stronger data protection and network access control. It provides enterprise and consumer Wi-Fi users with a high level of assurance that only authorized users can access their wireless networks. Based on the IEEE 802.11i standard, WPA2 provides government grade security by implementing the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) FIPS 140-2 compliant AES encryption algorithm and 802.1x-based authentication. WPA2-Personal protects unauthorized network access by utilizing a set-up password. WPA2 is backward compatible with WPA.

Note: For extra security a Triple Firewall System has been included.
